update on the KOTA dog

Well it is official, we are the worst pet owners in America. We finally had a dog that was completly potty trained, super sweet, loved by the boys, a huge part of our family, potty trained and . . . well now he is in doggy heaven. That's right we suck. He went outside to go potty, (he was actually potty trained!!) and was crying to come back in. I was working on my lesson plans and left him out for all of 5 minutes and I hear a rustling sound outside. I sent Kelton to see what it was and to let Kota in and he came running in the room to tell me that a coyote had just ran out of the yard. Needless to say he got our poor little Kota (sniff, sniff). It was really hard on everyone. We just do not have good luck with dogs. But I am sure we will try again! We just need a little bigger dog that can defend itself against the coyotes around here. And Dalton has now taken it upon himself to rid the world from every single coyote in the universe.

little dude

My little man Trason. He thinks he is such a big guy. If Dalton and Kelton are doing it then Trason wants to be doing it to. He is such a fun kid to have in our home. On this particular day he was jammin out to his IPod. (my IPod) He really does love music and sings all the time. He is one happy kid. You ROCK little dude!
We took a ride to the cabin one afternoon. Of course, we had to take a walk to the meadow to see if we could find any elk, because that is what we do everytime we go. And of course the boys found something interesting, because that is what they do everytime we go. This time it was the worlds largest grass hoper, I'm sure. After our walk I tried to get the boys to pose for some pictures next to the cabin, which reminded me why I hate trying to get the boys to pose for some pictures. It is definately a challenge. But we love going to the cabin, we have a lot of special memories there and it IS the most beautiful place on earth, I'm sure.

Beating the Winter Blues with a lil' Hocky

We love Hockey! Even though it has it's downs like, standing in the bitter cold for practice and games, taking 20 minutes/kid getting all the gear on,it still is a lot of fun wathcing them play.

Slacker

I am a blogging slacker. I haven't updated our blog in . . . oh, about a year. My world has been rocked since I got a J.O.B. So now instead of being a slacking blogger I have decided to become a mad blogger and catch up with all that has been happenin'. Good luck to me!
